Barque Stedemaeght is something special. In 1994, Olivier van Meer was commissioned for the design of the sail plan and deck arrangement as well as all production drawings. Many clever solutions, such as the van Meer furling yards and a special arrangement for the brace winches, make it possible to sail this 52m tall ship with only three deckhands – under all circumstances.
