One of the most special restoration projects ever carried out in the Netherlands was the rebirth of the three-masted topsail schooner Oosterschelde in 1990. Olivier van Meer did the complete design, construction drawings, sail plan, calculations, etc., for this project.
The Oosterschelde completed her first successful circumnavigation in 1997.
