MD10 Johanna Hendrika

“Johanna Hendrika (MD 10) – the very last original ‘beugsloep’ (traditional fishing boat) in the world – ensures that this unique piece of Dutch maritime heritage is preserved.”

Function: Designed as a fast, schooner-rigged longline fishing boat with a wet well to keep fish alive.

Construction: Built at the Rijkee & Co. shipyard in Katendrecht, commissioned by Wed. C. Kolff & Zn. from Middelharnis.

Current status: The historic ship is located at the Menheerse Werf in Middelharnis. The Rotterdam Sailing Ship Foundation is dedicated to restoring the hull and getting it sailing again.

In Cooperation with Reederij Oosterschelde & Stichting Het Rotterdamse Zeilschip, Our Team made A plan for the Future of this unique Sailing Ship
