Puffin 42 tested by Yacht Magazine
The new Puffin 42 has been put to the test by YACHT.de. It is always a pleasure to see one of our designs reviewed by one of Europe’s leading sailing magazines.
The article gives an honest and detailed impression of the yacht, her concept and her sailing characteristics.
One small note from our side: during the test, the boat suffered from unusually high steering loads. This was not caused by the design itself, but by an incorrectly supplied component in the Jefa steering system. The issue has since been resolved and the steering geometry has been corrected. Today, the Puffin 42 can quite literally be steered with a single finger, even in demanding conditions.
